Grooming

Due to very high demand and so that we can appropriately serve our current clients, we will not be accepting new grooming clients until further notice.
We will only book grooming appointments for pets who have been groomed by us previously who are also are current clients of the Concord Animal Hospital. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but with appointments booking out over three months and most pets needing to be groomed every six weeks or so, we need to reserve appointments for existing grooming clients who also come to CAH for veterinary care.
As soon as we are able, we will open up grooming to all CAH clients and then to the broader community.
Concord Animal Hospital offers gentle & expert grooming for your pet!

Our groomers, Cindy Reilly & Izzy Hamnqvist, professional groomers each with  years of grooming experience, will making your pet look amazing!
Dogs:
Both groomers will work with your dog, particularly elderly and nervous dogs, to make their grooming experience a positive one. Both happily put in the time to gain your dog’s trust and work hard to minimize any fear or anxiety they may feel about being groomed. Plus the will make your pooch look amazing!
Cats:
Izzy also grooms cats! Cats will be groomed on  some Mondays, days when we don’t offer dog grooming. This will give cats a quiet, dog-free space.
Cats in for grooming will be brushed & combed. Mats will be removed with a brush or clipper and kitties will be given a bath and blow dry. While we know that owners would often prefer an all-over trim, leaving the hair long, cats don’t tolerate that. Instead, long-haired cats can be clipped down or given a lion cut.
Izzy will also trim your cat’s nails and clean their ears while they are in for grooming.
Because cat grooming appointments are limited, we only offer cat grooming to feline patients of the animal hospital.
