 We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Lily Coppinger to our veterinary team! A Massachusetts native, Dr. Coppinger brings a wonderful mix of skill, compassion, and enthusiasm to every patient she meets.
Dr. Coppinger earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. While at Tufts, she co-founded the school’s Nutrition Club and served as treasurer of the veterinary fraternity Alpha Psi. She practiced at an animal hospital in Maine before joining the CAH team in fall 2025. She already feels like part of the family! When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll often find Dr. Coppinger enjoying the outdoors, reading a good book, or spending time with her friends and family. She shares her home in Somerville with her miniature Australian Shepherd, Eddy, and her cat, Theo — who happily join her on walks around the neighborhood. Dr. Coppinger is excited to get to know our clients and their pets, and she looks forward to providing the kind, personalized care every animal deserves.
